WE REALLY ARE WHAT WE EAT!

The food we eat is the only source from which our body can draw its materials and so it consists of what has been eaten, digested, absorbed and utilised. In a relatively short space of time the nature of the food we eat has changed significantly, from natural, nutrient dense wholesome foods towards less nutritious manufactured products and pre-prepared foods which are generally devoid of vital nutrients. Our bodies have not had time to adapt and evolve, and we are becoming increasingly over fed and under-nourished as we eat high energy foods with little nutritional value. This has resulted in a rapid increase in chronic diseases, such as obesity, diabetes, chronic fatigue syndrome, heart disease, arthritis, Alzheimer's disease and cancer.


It doesn't have to be this way. With a little knowledge, commitment and enthusiasm we can learn to respect our bodies, eat a more healthy diet and improve our health and  wellbeing.
